An Interview with Judith Palmer Harik

Judith Palmer Harik is a political analyst and former professor of political science at the American University of Beirut. She has studied Lebanon's Hezbollah movement since its emergence in the early 1980s, and is the author of Hezbollah -- the Changing Face of Terrorism. I spoke with professor Palmer Harik in late October 2007 -- shortly before U.S.-sponsored "peace talks" in Annapolis, MD -- at her home in the mountains above Beirut.

Could you help me get in touch with Judith Palmer Harik? I am a radiojournalist at the Danish Broascasting Corporation and producing a program about the legitimacy of Hezbollah. I go to Beirut in the beginning of April and would like to talk to Judith Palmer Harik. Best Helle Schøler Kjær hlk@dr.dk

There is NOT a word of truth in what this woman is saying. She knows nothing about Hezbollah milita. Hezbollah do not run hospitals or welfare services, these are built by the Iranian government and run jointly by the Iranian and Lebanese government not, Hezbollah milita. Also as Judith is a jounalist she would be the LAST person anybody in Hezbollah would talk to.This woman Judith is a joke and also very annoying too. Andrea
